Compared to Little India, the illuminated
arches along Geylang Road (seen here) and Sims Avenue seem uninspired.
But the Malay/Muslim festival does have the largest and busiest of the bazaars. They line both sides of Geylang Road for a stretch of some 500 metres or more, as well as along Sims Avenue near Paya Lebar metro station. |
