In the heartlands

 

 

At the heart of all town centres and neighbourhood centres is the hawker centre, with stalls selling all kinds of cooked food.

Many of us eat at one quite regularly. But rarely does anyone take a picture.

One day we might just wonder how we're going to explain to a new generation of kids what a hawker centre was.
